Evaluation of Biological Reference Points of Two Important Fishery Resources in the East China Sea

Fishery resources play an important role in the national economy and ecological diversity China; it is of great significance to evaluate rationally exploit fishery resources. Most fisheries off coast China are data-limited, as complex assessment models not suitable for its resource assessment. Therefore, data-limited among current research hotspots. In this paper, two new (Bayesian state–space implementation Schaefer production model (BSM) Monte Carlo MSY estimation (CMSY)) were used Scomber japonicus Muraenesox cinereus East Sea. The results showed that estimated value S. was 220 × 103 t 240 t, F/FMSY greater than one, B/BMSY very close indicating Sea had been overfished. M. ranged from 140 170 t. at biological reference point one less overfished declined. Both can be offshore China. To better understand impact uncertainty on assessment, more should carried out these models.
